New Delhi: Crime Branch of Delhi Police has come to know that Sukhdev Singh Namdhari had called some influential persons while he was taking Ponty Chadha to hospital just after the shootout.

According to reports, Namdhari's call details have shown that he had called five persons including three politicians and two bureaucrats of Uttarakhand and Punjab.

Crime Branch sleuths want to know from Namdhari why he had called these people on phone. Was it a part of any conspiracy or just wanted to inform these people who knew Ponty also?

Ponty's driver Rajdev, who was also with Namdhari while taking Ponty to hospital, also revealed to police that Namdhari had told somebody on phone that ''kaam ho gaya'' (work is done). Police is now interrogating Namdhari what did he mean by this? Was it that Ponty is died or whether a part of conspiracy?

According to reports, there were three persons in the car which was used by Namdhari to take Ponty to Fortis Hospital on November. Namdhari was accompanied by his Uttarakhand Police PSO Sachin Tygai and Ponty's driver Rajdev. It took about 10-15 minutes for the car to reach Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj from the disputed farmhouse at Chhatarpur where the shootout took place.

However, Crime Branch sleuths are mum on the role of these politicians and bureaucrats in killings.

Sources say at least one senior bureaucrat of Uttarakhand is on police radar. This senior IAS officer had called Ponty and Namdhari on the day of shootout in DLF farms, Chhatarpur.

Namdhari had told police during the interrogation that phone calls were related to investments of Ponty's companies in Uttarakhand. However, Crime Branch sleuths denied that this IAS official is under police radar.

Namdhari is in police custody till December 5. The Saket court had sent him to three-day police remand on Sunday after police told court that Namdhari was behind the property feud between Ponty and his younger brother Hardeep Chadha which finally led to the  shootout in DLF farms of Chhatarpur.

Crime Branch sleuths have also come to know that Namdhari had a full force of henchman which was used for illegally grabbing land, plots and farmhouse. Ponty also took help of them for grabbing DLF farms of Chhatarpur from Hardeep's men on November 17.

These henchmen of Namdhari had stayed at Ponty's Ghaziabad farmhouse. Next day they were armed with weapons and intruded into the farmhouse before the shootout.
