A Chinese man performs an incredible rescue of a woman who tried to commit suicide after her boyfriend calls off their wedding.
The desperate woman had clambers out on to the window ledge of a residential building in Changchun, Jilin province in China.
Dressed in her wedding gown, 22 year-old college student, seats crying on the window ledge of the building before threatening to jump.
Residents leaning from surrounding windows were staring in disbelief as the 22-year-old climbes through a narrow window.
Police inform her relatives after she drops her bag containing her mobile phone from the building.
Local community officer Guo Zhongfan grabs Li and helds by her neck and arms as she dangles above the street.
While another man in the apartment below reaches out of the window and pushes Li's feet up, as she was pulled to safety.
Li was sent to hospital following her rescue.
Policemen and relatives were unable to contact Li's former fiancé by phone.
Guo Zhongfan says, "I did what anyone would have done." Li did not sustain any injuries in the incident.
