Sydney: Ahead of the crucial match between India and Australia on Sunday, the BCCI has ordered the team manager to sit with the senior cricketers and resolve the issues of rifts that has engulfed the unit.
According to our reports the team will not have a practice session on Thursday and the senior cricketers (Dhoni, Sachin, Sehwag and Tendulkar) will have a meeting with the team manger to resolve the serious matter.
The BCCI is worried over the Viru-MSD spat and is unhappy to see it gain mileage in the public eye.
Virender Sehwag took a dig at skipper Dhoni on Tuesday for suggesting that the senior batsmen were being rotated because they were slow movers on the field.
Sehwag made it clear that he had no plans to have a word with his captain. "Why should I have a chat with him?" If that's not a complete breakdown in communication in the India dressing room, then what is? Also, what is Fletcher doing?
Former captain Ganguly also criticised Dhoni's rotation policy and his decision to leave out the seniors because of their lack of fielding ability.
