The Congress appointed Pratap Singh Bajwa as the new chief of its Punjab unit, replacing Amarinder Singh. Bajwa, Congress MP from Gurdaspur, has replaced Amarinder Singh, Congress general secretary Janardhan Dwivedi said in New Delhi.
